Salah Short
Course is extremely useful for every Muslim child or adult. Almost
every Muslim knows how to pray, whatever his mother tongue is. So,
in principle, we need to translate this course into almost all the
world languages minus Arabic!!! However, we want to start with
those languages that are spoken or understood by a large number of
Muslims (in addition to English and other languages for which we
already have some material):
-
Bengali
-
Indonesian
-
Chinese
-
Turkish
-
Malaysian
-
French
-
German
-
Howsa
If you know a
certain language and would like to translate into it, then please
download the following files and just replace English text with that
of your language. Allah subha-nahu-wa-ta-‘aala (SWT) will reward
you abundantly for spreading the message of the Qur’an. If you can
not do that yourself, then the easiest way to do that is to pay the
people involved in this work. Don’t expect others to be as
motivated as you are (in case you like this approach and want others
to do the translation work). Each one has his own projects.
Therefore, to get it easily done is to sponsor the work
financially. If you can not sponsor the work full time, then get
some friends to help you do that. This may require:
-
Find out
an Islamic scholar in that language and ask him to translate the
short course materials (textbook, workbook, vocabulary card,
poster, and the ppt files). Make sure to pay him overtime for
the translation work.
-
Ask him to
understand the English lessons and deliver the lectures in to
that language. Arrange a video recorder (now available for less
than 500 dollars!) and download the video files on Windows Movie
Maker (that comes with every Microsoft Windows). You can edit
the video clips for any corrections.
-
Get a good
Qari and ask him to recite Qur’an along with a good reader in
your language. Both can sit together and then record
Word-for-Word recording.
Rearrange the Vocab List according to the following Excel sheet and
we will inshaAllah have the “Game” ready for you in that language.
